Key responsibilities as the Senior Support Worker: As the Senior Support Worker you will assist the team leader in the supervision and development of your team, you will manage rota s and develop and deliver specialist support packages, ultimately ensuring the effectiveness and smooth running of the service and ensuring the highest quality of care is delivered.

• Follow person-centred care plans, ensuring ongoing review and updates in collaboration with management.
• Administer and accurately record medication in line with procedures.
• Ensure service users access the community, attend medical appointments, and develop independence.
• Maintain a safe and clean environment, ensuring high standards of hygiene and personal care.
• Accurately complete daily records, incident reports, and other key documentation.
• Support individuals in managing their personal finances and maintaining relationships with family and professionals.
• Follow company safeguarding policies, escalating concerns appropriately.

Senior Support Worker key requirements:

• Experience of working with adults with learning disabilities and/or Mental health backgrounds.
• At least 1 years working as a senior support worker.
• Level 2 in Health and Social care or equivalent
• Flexibility to work evenings and alternate weekends is essential.
• Full UK Driving Licence (desirable not essential)
