Morson Talent is seeking an experienced HR professional on behalf of our client to support a broad range of generalist HR responsibilities, while ensuring recruitment processes run efficiently and effectively. This is a full time permanent position based in Oldham.
Key Responsibilities:-
Serve as a trusted point of contact for managers, offering practical advice and guidance on employee relations matters such as disciplinary issues, performance management, and absence handling.

Draft, review, and maintain HR policies to ensure they reflect current employment legislation and best practice.

Provide clear and consistent advice to managers and employees on HR procedures, company policies, and employment law.

Carry out daily administrative and operational HR tasks to support the wider team.

Assist with all stages of the recruitment and onboarding process, helping to ensure a positive candidate and employee experience.

Monitor, track, and report on employee absences, supplying accurate data to support payroll processing.

Utilise the ADP HR system to input, manage, and extract HR data and reports.

Contribute to HR-related projects and initiatives as required.

Proven experience in a generalist HR role, offering sound HR advice and support.

CIPD qualified or currently working towards it; equivalent experience may be considered.

Confident in using HR systems and technology to manage employee data.

Solid understanding of employment legislation and experience handling a wide range of employee relations issues.

Strong communication skills both written and verbal with the ability to build effective relationships across all levels of the organisation.

Highly organised, able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Self-motivated and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.

High level of attention to detail, consistently producing accurate work.

Discreet and professional in managing confidential information and sensitive situations.
This is a site-based role in Oldham, with the occasional requirement to travel to the Manchester office.
