Job Title: Flexographic Lead Printer

Location: Greater Manchester

Salary : £41,140.51 P/A

Aspion are currently recruiting for a Flexographic Printer to join a large well-established manufacturing company in the Greater Manchester area. The main purpose of the role is to direct and support print assistants working in your team, ensuring productivity at all times and adhering to all SOPs.

Duties

  • Setting up machines in a safe manner.
  • Sign off work in line with production orders, monitoring quality control.
  • Print inspection duties and liaise with the team and process manager on any defects.
  • Troubleshooting machine problems.
  • Minimise machine downtime and maintain lean manufacturing.
  • Work with the ink technician to optimise colour machine time.
  • Complete shift handovers with full brief given on shift handover
  • Assist with training and ongoing development.

Skills

  • Fully trained Flexographic Printer NVQ Level 2/3.
  • Experience on wide web press.

  • Continental
  • 12 hour shift pattern over 2 week cycle
