We re hiring for a hands-on Production Team Leader to join a leading manufacturer based in Tameside, Greater Manchester.

Leading the production team will involve distributing work to meet order fulfilment dates, as well as motivating and organising the team to get the best performance.

  • £32,960 per year
  • Monday - Thursday 8:00am - 4:30pm / 12:00pm finish Friday
  • Overtime paid at enhanced rates

What will you be doing as a Production Team Leader?

  • Working with Production Planning & the Production Manager to meet targets
  • Monitoring and coaching your team to hit manufacturing goals
  • Ensuring all processes and procedures are followed correctly
  • Delivering regular team briefings and updates
  • Identifying and recommending process improvements
  • Managing performance issues and resolving conflict where needed
  • Carrying out 1:1s and identifying training or development needs

What do you need?

  • Previous experience working in product assembly manufacturing
  • Previous experience in a leadership role within a manufacturing environment
  • The ability to read and understand product drawings
