Senior Planner / Project Control Engineer Location: Manchester/Hybrid Contract Length: Initial 6 months INSIDE IR35 Potential to extend

We are seeking an experienced Planner / Project Control Engineer to join a major Rail and Transportation client on a high-impact infrastructure programme focused on the electrification of bus depots. This includes retrofitting existing facilities with electric charging infrastructure and the construction of new depots to support a cleaner, more sustainable future in public transport.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide project planning and control expertise across multiple workstreams.
• Develop and manage detailed project schedules.
• Support cost and resource planning to ensure programme efficiency.
• Collaborate closely with engineering, construction, and client teams.

Requirements:

• Significant experience in a similar senior-level planning or project controls role.
• Strong understanding of infrastructure and/or construction projects.
• Proficiency with project planning tools (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project).
