Job Description: Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Quality Assurance Specialist with a focus on meat products. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all meat products meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance protocols and procedures for meat products.
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits of meat processing facilities to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Monitor and analyze quality control data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with production and supply chain teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Ensure all meat products meet microbiological, chemical, and physical safety standards.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry regulations and standards, and ensure the company's compliance with all relevant laws and guidelines.
  • Train and mentor staff on quality assurance practices and procedures.
  • Prepare and present quality assurance reports to senior management.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Microbiology, or a related field would be beneficial.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in quality assurance within the food industry, with a focus on meat products.
  • In-depth knowledge of food safety regulations, quality assurance standards, and industry best practices.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in quality assurance software and tools.
