An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Shift Manager to join a global leader in gas engineering and distribution. Based at their Remote Operations Centre in Rotherham, this role supports plant optimisation across multiple international sites.

You'll operate from a control room environment using SCADA and PLC systems to manage real-time plant operations and performance, ensuring safe and efficient supply of tonnage and bulk gases.

Key Responsibilities:

• Optimise remote plant operations, reducing power consumption
• Interface with sites and product supply teams to meet demand
• Support start-up, shut-down and emergency scenarios
• Monitor and maintain process safety parameters for ASUs and HYCO plants
• Identify and resolve performance issues; drive process improvements
• Produce monthly performance reports and track KPIs
• Support onboarding and training of new sites

What You'll Bring to The Team

• Experience in Chemical, Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, or Pharmaceutical environments
• Proficient with P&ID and PFD interpretation
• Background in Electrical, Instrumentation, Mechanical, or Chemical Process Engineering
• Air separation (ASU), HYCO and CO experience advantageous
• Engineering degree preferred or equivalent practical experience
• Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
