The Role

Join Citizens Advice Salford and help empower people in your community. We're looking for a Training Supervisor to support and develop our team of dedicated volunteers.

In this role, you'll deliver inductions and training, provide day-to-day supervision, and ensure volunteers feel confident and supported to give high-quality advice. You'll play a key part in building skills, offering feedback, and creating a positive learning environment.

We're looking for someone with strong communication and mentoring skills, an organised approach, and a passion for helping others thrive. Experience in training or supervision is ideal, but more important is your ability to support, encourage, and motivate people from all backgrounds. You may also be an Advice Session Supervisor looking for a new challenge!

This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference - both to the volunteers you'll work with and to the clients they support.

What we give our staff

We truly value our colleagues - and we show that in what we offer.

We have a Family Friendly Policy that gives employees access to generous paid carers, maternity, paternity and adoption leave after 1 year of service. We provide generous annual leave entitlement, a perks package offering some great discounts at high street brands through BHSF and a pension scheme with NEST. We also offer great learning and development opportunities and an Employee assistance programme that provides access to free medical advice, counselling and legal advice from Irwin Mitchell solicitors.

Citizens Advice Salford recognises the positive value of diversity, promotes equality and challenges discrimination. We aim at all times to recruit the person who is most suited to the job and welcome applications from people of all backgrounds. We particularly welcome applications from disabled, Black, Asian or Minority Ethnic people, as they are currently under represented in our workforce.
