Associate Landscape Architect / LVIA Opportunity: An opportunity to work as an Associate Landscape Architect for a globally respected and recognised multidisciplinary firm, who s portfolio includes massive projects located all around the world. As an Associate Landscape Architect, you will be working alongside equally talented professionals from a multitude of different specialisms, allowing you to both gain unique insights into other relevant sectors and demonstrate your own adept abilities within your field of landscape planning. Being the newest team member, you as an Associate Landscape Architect will be directly influencing the evolution of expanding communities through your involvement with exceptional teams and high-quality developments that you would be proud to leave your mark upon. Role: Your responsibilities as an Associate Landscape Architect will involve shaping the vision of landscapes at the forefront of the client s plans. This will mean taking a lead from initial project inception and bidding stages, all the way through to putting the finishing touches on the final planning documentation. This will include: LVIA s, LVA, EIA s, Management Plans, Opportunities and Constraints Assessments, Management Plans, GI and Landscape Strategies and Method Statements. Alongside this, you will be taking on a key client facing role, meeting clients and forming strong working relationships, helping to win your own work for the company. Role Requirements: Demonstrable experience of field survey work. A strong understanding of planning policy and legislation frameworks. Strong project management experience and skills. Experience working in a client facing capacity. Very strong communication skills, able to clearly and concisely liaise with clients, LPAs etc. Proven record of winning work and effective business development. A full, clean UK driving license. Being a Chartered member of the Landscape Institute is highly desirable. A keen interest in developing and mentoring new/existing team members is also desirable.
