Description
- Conduct thorough surveys of properties to identify damp and mould issues.
- Provide detailed reports on property conditions and necessary repairs.
- Recommend effective solutions to address damp and mould problems.
- Work closely with the Property department to ensure that all properties meet safety standards.
- Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with relevant regulations.
- Communicate effectively with residents and colleagues.
- Contribute to the ongoing improvement of the organisation's property management processes.
- Assist in the training of new team members, if required.
Profile
A successful Damp & Mould Surveyor should have:
- A strong understanding of building surveying, particularly related to damp and mould.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to recommend effective solutions.
- Strong communication skills, capable of liaising with both residents and colleagues.
- Experience in the Not For Profit sector, ideally within property management.
- Commitment to maintaining high safety standards in all work.
