Description
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Provide expert advice on safety measures and best practices within the construction sector.
- Develop and implement risk assessments for ongoing and future projects.
- Deliver training sessions to staff on health and safety protocols.
- Investigate incidents and recommend corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, incidents, and training activities.
- Collaborate with project teams to integrate safety standards into planning and execution.
- Keep up to date with industry regulations and ensure the organisation's compliance.
Profile
A successful Health & Safety Advisor should have:
- A strong understanding of health and safety regulations in the construction industry.
- Experience in conducting risk assessments and site inspections.
- Proven ability to deliver training and communicate safety measures effectively.
- Knowledge of incident investigation processes and reporting standards.
- Relevant certifications, such as NEBOSH or equivalent qualifications.
- A proactive and detail-oriented approach to work.
Job Offer
