I am currently working with a Housing Association based in Manchester, looking for a Repairs Surveyor

Our client is looking to grow their Repairs and Maintenance team, therefore they are seeking a candidate who will play a crucial role in assessing and identifying various property related issues, focussing primarily on repair cases.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct detailed property inspections to identify repair issues, documenting findings accurately and thoroughly.
• Ensure all remedial works are completed in line with health and safety requirements.
• Completing pre and post inspections of responsive and void repairs.
• Stay up to date with relevant legislation and regulations, ensuring compliance and adherence to industry standards.
• Supervising contractors and ensuring quality of work and response times meet the required standards and SLAs.
• Attend mould, damp and condensation inspections and provide detailed reports

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years property inspection experience.
• Ability to work independently, manage workload efficiently, and meet deadlines.
• Knowledge of current building and housing legislation
• Full UK Driving License.
