About the RoleThis is your chance to take ownership of building safety across a diverse and growing portfolio. Reporting to the Operations Lead and working closely with property managers, residents, freeholders, and the Building Safety Regulator, you ll be working with trusted internal & external experts ensuring compliance and driving a culture of safety across the business.Your work will be vital in making sure these buildings and the people living in them are protected, informed, and heard.What You ll Be Doing
- Create and maintain Building Safety Cases & submit Safety Case Reports to the BSR
- Work directly with freeholders, residents, and the Regulator of Building Safety
- Lead compliance efforts under the Building Safety Act, Fire Safety (England) Regs, and RRFSO
- Support the PM team to ensure correct documentation on property safety & compliance is maintained.
- Train and upskill colleagues, championing a safety-first mindset throughout the business
- Continuously review and improve internal safety procedures and policies

- An understanding of fire or building safety in a residential property setting
- Knowledge of the Building Safety Act 2022, Fire Safety Act, and regulatory framework
- An understanding of Safety Case preparation, submission, and engagement
- A relevant safety or property management qualification (NEBOSH, CIOB, IRPM or IFE etc)
- The ability to advise senior leaders and support residents alike
