Thrive Group Oldham are seeking a Yard Operative with a DL to work for the local authority in their depot in Oldham.

Rate of pay: 12.21 p/h which will increase in April rising to 12.99 after 12 weeks Shifts: Mon-Fri, 7.45am - 3.50pm, 45 mins break Immediate start

Must have a driving licence

General Duties: Helping depot manager Health & Safety inspections Cleaning duties, washing and repairing bins Keyholder Litter picking

About you:

You will have experience of working outdoors Previous yard operating experience desirably Adhere to the rules of wearing the correct PPE at all times. Must be fit and healthy as some heavy lifting is involved.

Your role is to improve standards in relation to buildings, building work and public safety, and to develop the partnerships needed to maintain the high standards of service delivery.On a daily basis you will be taking part in site visits, liaising with your team and making sure that the projects being delivered are safe and compliant.What you'll need to succeed If you are a building control inspector or surveyor with Class 2 and Class 3 competencies, then get in touch! I'd love to discuss how your knowledge of the current building regulations, and chartered status with MCIOB/ MCIOB/ MCABE will be used to help improve standards in relation to buildings, building work and public safety.
