I am looking to speak with a Principal Geo-Environmental Consultant in Manchester to join the TD in growing a specialist contaminated land team. You will be joining a relatively new specialist team within a well-established ground engineering consultancy helping to solve complex solutions for heavily contaminated sites across the UK. As Principal Geo-Environmental Consultant, you will be desk based, client facing, helping to manage technical projects from inception through to completion. You will have the chance to sit directly under the contaminated land Technical Director and help build and develop the team to support the wider business on specialist projects. Principal Geo-Environmental Consultant technical responsibilities surround; Phase 1 / 2 technical reports, remedial strategies, MMP's, DQRA's, modelling, due diligence and expert advice on complex brownfield regeneration. My client is recruiting for a Building Surveyor to join their expanding Nottingham office. They work in the commercial property, education, residential, and public sectors. In our cross-disciplinary, collaborative environment, you'll play a pivotal role in managing client relationships while handling technical and legal issues. You will be comfortable in project management, contract administration, and building survey, and able to effectively communicate well with colleagues and clients.Responsibilities: Working across several regional projects in different sectors, providing a range of building surveying duties. Design & specification of building and remedial works. Using and applying standard forms of building contract, such as JCT and NEC Understanding the principles of quality, safety and the environment in survey, design and management of projects and portfolios Carrying out surveys, inspections schedules, provide professional services and managing regional schemes. Helping further develop our opportunities and growth within a chosen specialism, e.g. healthcare, education, etc. Requirements: BSc Hons Building Surveying or other similar construction subject.
