Job Title: Unit Manager

Location: Eccles, Manchester

Salary: £23.50 per hour + Benefits

Contract Type: Full-Time, 44 hours

Hours: 2 shifts on floor and 2 shift supernumerary

About the Role fo Unit Manager:

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Unit Manager to lead one of our specialist units within a well-established nursing home. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Registered Nurse with strong leadership skills to take the next step in their career.

As Unit Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day clinical care of residents, managing a team of nurses and care staff, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality, person-centred care.

Key Responsibilities for the Unit Manager:

  • Lead and manage the unit team to deliver exceptional care to 30 residents
  • Ensure compliance with clinical standards and regulatory requirements
  • Develop and review individual care plans
  • Support, mentor, and supervise nursing and care staff
  • Liaise with families, healthcare professionals, and other stakeholders
  • Promote a safe, caring, and supportive environment

Requirements for the Unit Manager:

  • Registered Nurse (RGN/RMN/RNLD) with valid NMC pin
  • Previous experience in a senior nursing or unit management role
  • Strong clinical knowledge and leadership abilities
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Commitment to delivering high standards of care
