We re looking for a dedicated Support Worker to join our team, helping a young adult with high-functioning autism thrive and grow towards independence.What We re Looking For:
- Driver with access to a car essential for travel in and around Altrincham (you must live within 15 minutes of the area)
- Experience with Autism you understand the challenges and strengths that come with autism, and how to offer meaningful support
- Strong communication skills English must be your first language due to communication needs
- Engaging and outgoing personality we need someone who s warm, approachable, and not afraid to take initiative with lots of energy and enthusiasm
- Supporting a young adult to build social connections and engage in community activities
- Encouraging and enabling them to develop independence and confidence
- Being a positive presence, a role model, and a trusted companion
- Salary: £13.40ph weekdays, £14.40ph weekends
- Guaranteed Hours After Probation: Once you've passed probation, we can guarantee up to 50% of the hours you commit to working each week
