This will be for an industrial company that specialise in providing Seat covers and curtains.Main Duties and Responsibilities:As a Fabric operative, you will play a crucial role in our production team, responsible for pleating curtain and seat cover patterns according to company operating procedures. Your primary duties and responsibilities will include: Reporting to the Production Manager and completing all cutting tasks accurately and efficiently. Understanding curtain drawings and seat cover patterns and samples. Maintaining a consistent production flow to meet set targets. Ensuring a high quality of measuring, cutting, and workmanship. Accurate recording of stock figures on fabric. Monitoring the progress of work packs and reporting any issues to the supervisor. Organising the work area and keeping fabric in order. Adapting to and learning new work procedures and systems required within the production/cutting department. Assisting with any other duties related to the company's services, particularly during busy periods or to support customers at short notice.Key Competencies:To excel in this role, you should possess the following key competencies: Self-motivated and able to use your own initiative.
